The name Zone One came about in 1984 when Todd was using the name "Drop Zone" which was used when they were playing gigs at a local skydiving drop zone. While sitting at a stop light, suddenly "Zone One" popped into Todd's head.
Todd Schacherl has been playing bass over 40-years in various original and cover bands. Some of the bands include, Bored Styph, The Michael Ross Band, Sleep of Reason, Driving While Blind, The Meltdown, Stogee Blues and the Reborn Boys, and of course Zone One.
